Leaders Tom Daschle and Bob Dole
will hold a press conference May 30 in
Washington to release a new report
calling for a transformation of U.S.
agricultural policy to expand America farm
markets and reform existing subsidies. The new
study comes as Congress is set to
begin work on reauthorization of Farm
Bill.
The report was produced by the 21st Century Agriculture Policy Project, a project of the Bipartisan Policy Center, a new organization dedicated to improving the quality of American political discourse and to demonstrating that bipartisan policy solutions can be developed to address critical national challenges.
